Ikehila TEPPEI born in 1975 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, 2001 Graduated from Course of Health and Physical Education, Department of School Teachers’aining, Faculty of Education,Shimane University. Since 2000, Tetsu Ikehira has held several solo exhibitions at the SHIMANE ART MUSEUM, the Tokyo Opera City Museum, and other venues. Ikehila TEPPEI has held numerous Solo Exhibitions. In 2013, his works were selected for The 16th Exhibition of Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art, Selected Tha Royal Ueno Museum "THE VISION OF CONTEMPORARY ART 2017". He has also participated in art fairs in New York, Miami, and Taiwan. He has been a lecturer for special exhibitions at the Komaba Museum, Tokyo University. He is also responsible for the illustration of many art book covers, and has been invited to draw designs in the artist's room of the Tokyo Park Hotel, which is famous for its art.
Artists Ikehila TEPPEI use of the background landscape into the garden borrowed compositional techniques to create; Japan's borrowed landscape techniques are said to have been established in the Muromachi period, in the study of China's borrowed landscape techniques on the basis of a step of their own, breaking the use of the environment, the development of a new set of "anti-client as the main", so that borrowed scenery as the protagonist of the garden, which is an alternative way of gardening concepts.

In addition to reconstructing the beautiful elements scattered all over the place, in this exhibition, the artist has created a series of works in which different wild animals can be seen looking back at the bustling city with clear and pure expressions in their eyes, and Ikehila TEPPEI has discovered the curiosity and innocence of a child towards the world without the worries and noises of an adult, and he is exploring the world in such a serious way. But when he re-examined it with this kind of thinking, he found that these ordinary daily life is more beautiful.
