Chris BERENS (b.1976) combines traditional painting techniques and digital design to create his own unique artistic language. His oeuvres inherit classical techniques resemble Vermeer and Rembrandt's depiction of light and shadow, and use a surreal visual vocabulary to combine multiple media. Materials are employed to present a surreal universe with a hazy feeling like a fairyland and a digital high-definition effect.
