This new artworks will feature a variety of works, including Dalgona, a new type of healing bear called Makaeto, Sweet Heart, and Melt Ice Cream. The ‘Dalgona’ series presented in this solo exhibition combines the sweet and crunchy dalgona that someone’s remember making and eating as a child and the toys that who played with, summoning up a scene from she’s happy memories.The artist recognizes both a symbolic medium that brings up latent memories and a sweet gustatory object, thereby saving happy memories forever. It provides sweet healing by reorganizing negative emotional memories into positive ones. The various materials and forms of daily life expressed in the sweet artwork seem to contain the artist’s intention, and when several works are displayed together, a sense of cozy happiness is added to the space.
